The Gordon Sondland and Katherine J. Durant Foundation was founded in 1999 by Gordon Sondland & Katherine Durant.

The Foundation's mission of "Helping Families & Boosting Communities" is carried out through contributions, challenge grants, and long term pledges of support to a wide range of charitable organizations.

These organizations include the Portland Art Museum, OMSI, OHSU, New Avenues for Youth, Oregon Ballet Theatre and the Portland Parks Foundation.
